Merson: Arsenal still missing X factor for Champions League push

Paul Merson says Arsenal had an amazing Champions League record last season and will be around the mark again this year. But he doesn't think the club bought that X factor signing to push them to the next level. Speaking on Sky Sports, Merson questioned whether Arsenal have the extra quality needed to go all the way in Europe. He stopped short of naming a specific player he felt the club should have signed.
