Kessie rejoins Atalanta as free agent after nine years

Franck Kessie has officially signed for Atalanta as a free agent. It is a return to the club where he first made his name in Serie A. The midfielder left Bergamo nine years ago and now comes back after his contract elsewhere ran down. Atalanta get a proven, physical presence in the middle of the park without paying a transfer fee. Kessie will report for duty as the club push on domestically and in Europe.
