Eriksen and Wolfsburg terminate contract by mutual consent

Christian Eriksen and VfL Wolfsburg have agreed to end his contract by mutual consent. The club announced the decision on Wednesday. The 34 year old Danish midfielder had been back home recuperating after collapsing on the pitch in June. Eriksen said he was pleased the two sides were able to find a solution. He now leaves the German club without a contract.
