Rose Lavelle signs Gotham FC extension through 2029

Rose Lavelle has agreed a contract extension with Gotham FC that runs through 2029. The USWNT midfielder joined the club ahead of the 2024 season, part of a group of national team players who arrived together. She scored the only goal in last year's NWSL Championship. The new deal keeps her in New Jersey for the long term, and it settles one of the bigger contract questions around Gotham's roster.
