Jamie Vardy joins Burnley after leaving Cremonese

Jamie Vardy has signed for Burnley in the Championship. The striker joins as a free agent after departing Cremonese and has agreed a contract until the end of the season. Vardy turns 40 in January but plans to carry on playing despite building a media career on the side. Burnley are struggling near the bottom of the table and will hope his experience gives them a lift for the run-in.
