Peterborough United appoint Robbie Savage as head coach

Peterborough United have appointed Robbie Savage as their new head coach. He leaves Forest Green Rovers to take the job at London Road, where he replaces Luke Williams. Savage moves from the League Two club to a side in the division above, a step up in level for a manager still early in his coaching career. Peterborough have not put a length on the deal. His first task is getting to know a squad he did not build.
