Nigeria sack Madugu after WAFCON exit, WC miss

The Nigeria Football Federation has dismissed Super Falcons coach Justine Madugu and his entire technical crew with immediate effect, the ESPN. The decision comes days after Nigeria failed to qualify for the FIFA Women's World Cup for the first time. The NFF acted quickly after the team crashed out of the Women's Africa Cup of Nations, ending a qualification run that had kept Nigeria in every World Cup since the tournament began. A replacement has not been announced.
