Montréal signs ex-Arsenal, United star Sánchez

CF Montréal has signed Chilean international forward Alexis Sánchez to a Designated Player contract, the club announced on Tuesday. The 36-year-old joins after spells at top European clubs including Arsenal and Manchester United, as well as a return to his boyhood club in Chile. He becomes the latest big-name arrival in MLS as Montréal look to add firepower up front.
