Carrick rules out £100m signing as Rashford returns to United

Michael Carrick has said Manchester United cannot make a £100m signing because the club's finances will not allow it. The manager believes United are unable to compete with their rivals in the transfer market at that level. Carrick also addressed Marcus Rashford's return. The forward came back after a loan spell with Barcelona, but his future is not settled. Carrick insisted "He is our player," even if a departure is still possible this summer.
