Alaba passes medical and closes in on Udinese move

David Alaba has passed his medical in Rome and is now heading north to finalise a move to Udinese. The defender is 34 and arrives as a free agent, so no fee is involved. The medical was the last big hurdle before he puts pen to paper. Udinese get an experienced head at the back for nothing, which is the kind of deal that suits them. Terms of the contract have not been confirmed yet.
