The MeisterIQ, our measure of model conviction, sits at 52 out of 100. That is not much higher than a coin flip’s credibility. For context, a top-flight Premier League match with decades of data might register 75 or 80. This is a 52. It is the model’s polite way of saying “I have seen one match from one of these sides, and that match ended 2-2, and I am not sure what to do with that.”

New England II have exactly one recorded fixture in the Lemeister archive. One. They did not win it. They drew it, 2-2, somewhere in 2026. That is the entire data set for the home side. MeisterIQ is our confidence score. It measures how much the model trusts its own output. Fifty-two out of 100 is low. It means the model is working with thin data, wide variance and a high degree of uncertainty. It is not a guarantee that the forecast is wrong. It is a guarantee that the forecast is fragile.

Think of it this way. If the model had 30 matches of data for each side, the MeisterIQ might climb to 70 or 75. The win probabilities would be tighter, the ranges narrower. You would see a favourite emerge with 50% or more, and the other two numbers would shrink. That is not what we have here. We have a 39-29-32 split and a 52 IQ. That is the model saying “I have a guess, but do not trust it too much.”

Without historical patterns, we have to think about what a generic MLS Next Pro match looks like. These are developmental sides. They rotate heavily. Young players get minutes. The tactical discipline is variable. Scores can be lopsided or tight, depending on which version of a side shows up.
