UEFA names 2028 and 2029 Champions League final hosts

UEFA has confirmed the venues for the 2028 and 2029 Champions League finals at a meeting in Thessaloniki, Greece. Wembley misses out. The decision on the two host stadiums was the main item on the agenda for the executive committee. Full details of which grounds will stage each final are set out in the announcement. It means England will not host European club football's biggest game in either of those years.
