Liverpool made late move for Chelsea defender Gusto

Liverpool pushed to sign Malo Gusto late in the window, according to Wednesday's gossip. The Reds made a move for the Chelsea right-back but a deal did not come together. Also doing the rounds, a couple of Manchester United defenders are effectively on trial this season, with their futures uncertain. Nothing has been confirmed, it is all speculation at this stage.
