Manchester City sign Bouaddi, let Marmoush and González go

Manchester City have signed midfielder Ayyoub Bouaddi from Lille in a €100m (£85.6m) deal, closing a busy day of transfer activity. The 20-year-old France international joins on a long-term contract. Two players are heading out the exits meanwhile. Omar Marmoush is going to Spurs, reportedly on loan with an obligation to buy. And City have agreed to sell Nico González to Newcastle for £52m. City confirmed the Bouaddi capture but did not give more detail on the departures at the time of reporting.
