Liverpool seek new sporting director as Richard Hughes departs

Liverpool are looking for a fourth sporting director in four years after formally confirming Richard Hughes has left the role. The club says he stepped down, and Hughes is now in line for a similar position at Saudi club Al-Hilal. FSG president Mike Gordon is leading the search for a successor. It is another change at the top of the club's football operations.
