Ipswich sign Argentina World Cup winner Palacios

Ipswich Town have signed Argentina midfielder Exequiel Palacios from Bayer Leverkusen. He becomes the first World Cup winner to join the club after lifting the trophy with Argentina in Qatar. Palacios moves from the Bundesliga side where he has spent the last several seasons. The fee has not been disclosed. He is expected to add experience and steel to an Ipswich midfield as the club continues its rebuild.
