Carrick misses out as striker joins elsewhere

Michael Carrick has missed out on a striker the Manchester United boss reportedly rated as the real deal. The forward has sealed a move elsewhere after the summer transfer window shut. Carrick is now turning his attention to Premier League fixtures with the squad he has. United had shown interest in the player but could not get the deal over the line before the deadline.
