Man City appeal Premier League commission verdict

Manchester City have confirmed they are appealing the verdict of the Premier League's independent commission. The club says the ruling contains clear material errors of fact and law. City were found guilty of sham contracts and off-book payments. The appeal is the club's next move after the commission's decision, and it puts the case back in front of a fresh panel. No date has been set for that hearing. City have not accepted the findings.
