Eriksen leaves Wolfsburg by mutual consent

Christian Eriksen has left Wolfsburg by mutual consent. The club confirmed the exit just over three months after the midfielder collapsed during Denmark's friendly against Ukraine. Both sides agreed to end the deal, and he leaves with immediate effect. Eriksen was playing for Denmark when he went down on the pitch earlier this year and was treated before being taken off. No reason for the departure has been given beyond the mutual agreement.
